    An ice dispenser makes good business sense if you would like a more sanitary method to getting ice than scooping. Less hands are near the ice and the product stays covered keeping environmental contaminants, such as dust or smoke, away from it. Countertop units are available for the front of the house. These are widely used in retail locations, many found in self-serve stations. Larger models are many times found in the back of the house, where ice is dispensed into containers for transport or to fill bags for ice sales.
