The Globe GFP550 Chef's Choice Vegetable Cutter is a the right tool when it comes to vegetable cutting. The ergonomic 45° angle design results in undamaged product. With the 45° angle the need to aggressively push product through the grids/discs is eliminated. Less abuse/cell damage means longer shelf life, better final product, and lower costs. Ideal plate speed improves product yield, extends shelf life. Slow knife/cutting speed allows the product to be cut gently, similar to cutting by hand. The product retains its cell structure, which means that oxidation occurs at a much slower rate. This results in extended shelf life and improved product yield. All metal construction makes cleaning quick and easy. The unit's housing is seamless and has rounded corners so there are no crevices in which food can get caught. The hopper head and food pusher are easily removable without the use of tools.
